Purely a thing of beauty

I purchased this bike a little over a year ago. It was completely in pieces and in boxes when we purchased her. We pilled all her pieces in the trailer and happily took it home. That same night I stuck it back together, only to find I had alot of chopping to do.

I began by cutting the back bone and making one off signature expanded metal seats. Then off the bars. The old bars just didn’t have enough attitude for this bike. So I made some “S” shape drag bars that mounted below the upper triple tree. Now for the tank. The tank I used, was a tank that I made about 3 years ago. I just have never used it on anything until now. It was perfect for the attitude of this bike.

Off the engine, the engine was in pieces just like the rest of the bike. The bottom end was good except for a broken lifter block, bum lifter and wiped out cam on the intake of  front cylinder. Good excuse for some Andrews V-6 cams and some Wesco 10:1 pistons. I trimmed the fat on the cam cover down to just the size of the gasket. Trimmed the engine in textured black paint. I had to have a good performing exhaust. So dug around in the used pipe pile. Found some bends that fit and an old CB750 megaphone and some header tape and were in business. I made 5” cylinder oil tank, with some funky mounts, new battery box license plate mount with the much needed bottle opener. Blacked out the front end, finished up the wiring. Had my buddy Calvin at Bain Graphics do the stencil of “Miss Conception” and the Widowmaker logos.

She is done, riding and ready. And has already taken a first place in her first bike show at the Ray Price Rally in Raleigh.

Yes, she is for sale and looking for a home. Please call me or drop me a line.
